*Just a little more than a month until the banquet, and we are beginning to get responses in. As a reminder, the first 100 people to purchase tickets will be entered into a drawing for a night at an Oregon coast Shilo Inn! Just a little motivation for those who might be drawn to procrastinate! 🙂 You can make your donation on-line at //tentalentsint.org/ or through the mail to Ten Talents International. Some of you may have gotten your invitations late, as there was a mix-up with the amount of postage required, but I think that’s all taken care of now. Please keep this banquet in your prayers- that God would release people to come & for this to night to be used by God for his glory.

*We found out recently that a church is fully funding the Kanombe Children’s Home through Africa New Life Ministries. That is wonderful to know, because funding that home was one of our goals for this year. Praise God the home is taken care of! (We still need to fully fund the Faith Home- please pray for that.)

*Mike is wrapping up his “final” days at his carpentry job, probably just one or two days left. I put “final” in quotes because he will go back occasionally, a day here or there, to do fixes and such. He is very ready to move on to working full time for Ten Talents International. This has been on his heart for a long time!

Banquet invitations are either in the mail or already in your mail box! We are very excited about this event (happening September 9th). It is going to be a fantastic time- celebrating what God is doing! We are praying for a full event- God can do it!

Our blog will be to post news, events, prayer requests & answers, and info about the ministry and our family. I will try to keep things to the point.

*Today the July newsletter began hitting mailboxes! Yeah! This “labor” began on the 4th & got into the mail on the 18th. Much of this time was spent creating a Ten Talents Int. mailing list, finding names & addresses of people who we may not have spoken with recently but would like to hear about the latest Ten Talents Int. news. 261 newsletters went out. Please pray for these to be used to increase the ministry!

*Someone has donated 17 nicely matted & framed photos from Rwanda to display & sell at our banquet on September 9th. These were taken by older kids in Africa New Life’s care & there will be bios of the kids to go along with their photo (the photos are about 11×13, not including matt & frame). I am very excited about this!

*We had our first paypal donation done through our website today too! Very cool!

*Mike should be done with his current job by the end of the month. I really feel at peace, that everything is going to be fine, but I still would appreciate your prayers as we are moving into a phase of really living by faith!
